History

At the end of World War II an all metal, light aircraft emerged, the Model 35 Bonanza. In addition, Walter Beech was adamant that a new, postwar Beechcraft excel in overall efficiency. Therefore, the team doubled their efforts to create an airplane with outstanding aerodynamics . The 35 Bonanza came with a six-cylinder engine and a streamlined shape. It featured not only a retractable tricycle undercarriage… but also low-wing configuration.The prototype 35 Bonanza made its first flight on December 22, 1945. Finally, on March 25, 1947, the CAA issued certification for the type.

The Beechcraft has been in production longer than any other airplane in history. All Model 35 Bonanzas manufactured in 1968 and after were reclassified with the prefix “V” to separate those airplanes from the Model 33. This type… Model 33, was later renamed Bonanza, a Model 35 with a conventional tail. In 1970, the A36 was designed… a a longer-bodied, straight-tail variant of the of the A33.

Design

The Beechcraft Bonanza is an American, single engine… general aviation aircraft. It features retractable landing gear and dual flight controls. Powered by: an Allison 250 (Rolls Royce) engine. Furthermore it has a two-speed electric auxiliary fuel pump and leading edge vortex generators ahead of ailerons. It has a single, throw-over control yoke. The yoke and rudder pedals are interconnected by a system of bungee cords. These assist in keeping the airplane in coordinated flight during turns.

Furthermore it offers a baggage area of 122kg capacity. The A36 offers an additional 31kg of baggage capacity. It is a 6 seater with club seating in the aft cabin. It also features a large, two piece utility door on right aft fuselage, coupled with large rear doors. The longer fuselage length and big horizontal tail provide very precise pitch control that lends itself to smooth and predictable approaches and landings… not to mention lower workload
