At the end of World War II an all metal, light aircraft emerged, the Model 35 Bonanza. In addition, Walter Beech was adamant that a new, postwar Beechcraft excel in overall efficiency. Therefore, the team doubled their efforts to create an airplane with outstanding aerodynamics . The 35 Bonanza came with a six-cylinder engine and a streamlined shape. It featured not only a retractable tricycle undercarriage… but also low-wing configuration. The prototype 35 Bonanza made its first flight on December 22, 1945. Finally, on March 25, 1947, the CAA issued certification for the type. The V35B… a variant of the 35 Bonanza.. was introduced in 1970.The Beechcraft has been in production longer than any other airplane in history. All Model 35 Bonanzas manufactured in 1968 and after were reclassified with the prefix “V” to separate those airplanes from the Model 33.

The Beechcraft Bonanza is an American, single engine… general aviation aircraft. It features retractable landing gear, and its signature V-tail. The V35B has a 24v  electrical system, 4 second gear retraction and extension trm. Powered by: a Continental IO-520 engine. The yoke and rudder pedals are interconnected by a system of bungee cords. These assist in keeping the airplane in coordinated flight during turns. Furthermore it offers a baggage area of 122kg capacity and also a large baggage door. It is a four seater with adequate space for comfort.

  1. Chris

One of the Cleanest and preserved V tails still around.
One can see from looking and being in this machine a lot of sacrifice and care was given to preserving the Aircraft.
The comment has been made by a number of bonanza owners that the Aircraft consistently is faster than others of the type by 5-10 KTS, This is likely down to how straight the machine trims out for its age.
