The early Cessna 210 had four seats with a Continental IO-470 engine of 260 hp (190 kW). Derived from a 182B, additions included were… retractable landing gear, swept tail, and a new wing. In 1961 the fuselage and wing were redesigned… and  third side window added. The semi-Fowler flaps extended outboard, which allowed a lower landing speed. The aileron profile changed and its chord enlarged. The 1964 model 210D introduced a 285 hp engine and two small child seats. In 1970 the 210K became the first full six-seat model. The Centurion II was an option introduced in 1970 with improved avionics. It was available in both normally aspirated and turbocharged.

In 1979 the 210N model eliminated the folding doors which previously covered the two retracted main wheels. The 210 is one of the few general aviation airplanes that were built in quantity with normally aspirated engines, turbocharged engines and pressurised cabins.

The Cessna 210N is a six-seat, single turbocharged engine aircraft. It offers high-performance, retractable-gear and a high-wing. In 1970 the newly introduced Centurion II…  featured improved avionics. The main wheel tubular spring struts retract into… shallow channels along the bottom of the fuselage. Therefore the wheels fit in closed depressions on the underside of the fuselage. The aircraft… offered in a normally aspirated version and designated the 210. Powered by a Continental TSIO-520-R engine. All the Cessna Centurions… renowned for their load-hauling with the 210N being no exception.

Cessna Turbo 210N – 1979

The Cessna 210 is arguably the best high performance… and single engine aircraft ever produced. This aircraft carries your load and gets you there quick. It’s stable and comfortable. The Cessna 210, widely used not only by flight training schools… but also private operators, air taxi and commercial charter.
